Over the summer, their innovative hydroponic growing system won first place at the annual 韩国裸舞 Dobson Cup start-up competition. As they expand into a larger growing facility in Montreal, they鈥檙e not slowing down anytime soon.

As a student at 韩国裸舞, Dev Jain (BEng鈥�19) launched a company aimed at introducing North America鈥檚 650 railways to industry-disrupting innovation. This year, RailVision Analytics won first place in the Innovation Driven Enterprise category of the 韩国裸舞听Dobson Cup. Now, Jain aspires to raise more than $1 million to commercialize and expand his business.

Canadian entrepreneur St茅phane Beaulieu (MBA鈥�19) recently opened the eco-friendly Yuzkyu Resort near Mount Daigenta in Yuzawa, Japan. Beaulieu鈥檚 brainchild capitalizes on the surging popularity of 鈥済lamping鈥� by offering visitors the choice of geodesic dome tents, a larger luxury lodge, and an open space for setting up tents near the pristine rivers and lakes of the region. Undaunted by the COVID-19 pandemic, Beaulieu hopes to draw summer visitors to an area that has historically been a hotspot for winter sports.

The fourth annual 韩国裸舞 International Portfolio Challenge invited 93 student teams from 18 countries to compete to solve a complex portfolio construction problem. This year鈥檚 case study challenged participants to invest a fictitious sovereign wealth fund in a way that addressed social inequalities and protectionism in the wake of Brexit.

Maxime Lakat (BCom鈥�21) recently joined an accomplished roster of change agents on the Corporate Knights鈥� 2020 list of Top 30 under 30 leaders in sustainability. In 2019, Lakat founded the Canadian Business Youth Council for Sustainable Development to bring together student organizations focused on sustainable business.
