As Teresa Tolo addressed Black Grad 2022 as valedictorian, she was overcome with emotion. You might not know Shein鈥檚 brand, but chances are you鈥檝e seen their clothing. The Chinese fast fashion company has quickly and quietly grown into an e-commerce giant. Shein targets young shoppers with an online-only business model and rock-bottom prices. Bread and grain waste is a leading cause of food waste in Canada, and but this can be reduced by transforming spent brewing yeast and stale bread into flour that can be sold to businesses or directly to the consumers. Analytics can tell a story鈥揵ut they don鈥檛 tell the whole story.
