She joined the finance department of Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) in 1997. In her stint covering 10 years at the company she handled various responsibilities like budgeting, treasury, financial accounting, change management, investor relations, well engineering, financial services etc. She was cross posted to Shell in London from PDO.

On the eleventh day of November, people around the world will again honour those who have served in the armed forces through ceremonies such as Veterans Day in the US and Remembrance Day in the UK. Those of us fortunate to have not experienced battle will doubtless give thanks because, as the Civil War general, William T. Sherman succinctly put it, 鈥淲ar is all hell.鈥� But no matter how terrible war has been and continues to be, philosophers, social scientists and, of course, business school academics have been able to extract valuable lessons from it.

College degree programs in business are proving popular with students, with one Ontario institution expanding its footprint to meet demand.
Sheridan College has announced plans for a 220,000-square-foot building to open in fall 2016 at its Mississauga campus, named for the municipality鈥檚 long-serving and just-retired mayor Hazel McCallion. The new building will house an expanded business faculty and other disciplines.
