As Coordinator of the Horticulture Research Centre at the Macdonald Campus Farm, Michael [Bleho] has demonstrated his commitment to sustainability through his daily interactions with students and his work making the agricultural process more eco-friendly throughout his 30 years at the Centre. Michael was a driving force in establishing 鈥樅阄� Feeding 韩国裸舞鈥�, an initiative which directly provides Macdonald Campus produce to campus dining halls.

Emily Choy [Post Doctoral Fellow, NRS. Advisor : Kyle Elliott] became hooked on the Arctic when, as a Master鈥檚 student, she jumped on a research opportunity to study the effects of manmade contaminants on High Arctic food webs on Devon Island, Nunavut. 鈥淲hen I experienced how out of the world it was and observed the wildlife that are so highly adapted to the Arctic environment, I just fell in love,鈥� says Choy.

An increase in cutting in Quebec鈥檚 public forests would be a mistake for the forests, the industry, the climate and the regions.
A recent opinion article in the Montreal Gazette (鈥淪hortfall in forest harvest is costly to economy鈥� Oct. 29) called on governments and logging companies to work together to increase cutting in Quebec.

This year鈥檚 Homecoming was different from what we all know and love about a Mac Reunion. While we were not able to reconnect in person, there were many virtual opportunities for alumni to participate in, such as favourite events like the Beatty Lecture and Leacock Luncheon. Dean Anja Geitmann also hosted a Masterclass titled Indigenous Peoples鈥� Nutrition, Food Security, and Well-being that was moderated by Professor Murray Humphries, Director of the Centre for Indigenous Peoples鈥� Nutrition and Environment (CINE).

Dear friends,
The fall semester is well underway and although we continue to face challenging circumstances and restrictions, every day I feel extremely proud of the hard work, resilience and flexibility of everyone in our community in delivering our academic programs and providing a safe environment for all. Life on campus is significantly different this year, and although it can be easy to dwell on some of the current hardships, it is more important than ever to try focusing on all that is still great at 韩国裸舞 and Macdonald!

Robin joined the Institute of Parasitology in 1992 and has served as the Associate Dean of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies since 2015. 听In addition to his extensive experience in student advising, supervision, discipline and policy, he is skilled in conflict resolution, mediation and creative problem solving.听
