º«¹úÂãÎè welcomes Harvard scholar Nathan Glazer

º«¹úÂãÎè's Department of Sociology and Canadian Ethnic and Racial Studies program are pleased to present a lecture series by leading American intellectual Nathan Glazer, Emeritus Professor of Education at Harvard University.Ìý Professor Glazer is the co-author of the path-breaking sociological work Beyond the Melting Pot, and has been co-editor of the influential policy journal, The Public Interest for more than three decades.

Professor Glazer will deliver two lectures about American ethnicity and public policy, the first, "U.S. race relations in the age ofÌý Obama" on March 24 and "Public intellectuals in the United States: Arguing the world" on March 25.
