Research suggests women self-select out of senior appointments

Research has been published suggesting that women are underrepresented in high-paying jobs because they are not applying for them. According to Professor Roxana Barbulescu, of the Desautels Faculty of Management at º«¹úÂãÎè in Canada women are effectively taking themselves out of the running for certain jobs rather than being subject to discrimination by the employers....
