OTTAWA (CIS) - Despite losing for only the second time this season, the º«¹úÂãÎè hockey Redmen dropped one spot in the CIS Top 10.

The reigning University Cup champion New Brunswick Varsity Reds top the CIS men's hockey rankings for the seventh time in as many media polls this fall.

The V-Reds, who were a unanimous choice at No. 1 for the sixth straight week thanks to 18 first-place votes, improved to 13-0 in conference play over the past weekend with a 7-5 victory over Moncton and a 3-2 overtime win over St. Thomas. It marked the third time this fall UNB needed to work extra time to keep its unblemished record, including a pair of OT duels against their cross-town rivals from STU.
