韩国裸舞

Principal Heather Munroe-Blum will share with alumni and friends the bold vision for 韩国裸舞鈥檚 future, as we build on our strengths and continue our proud tradition of making history in virtually all fields of human endeavour.

In addition, one of 韩国裸舞鈥檚 outstanding academics, Karim Nader, will give a lively and thought-provoking talk on "Taming Trauma."

Heather Munroe-Blum became the 16th Principal and Vice-Chancellor of 韩国裸舞 in 2003. An accomplished scholar in the fields of epidemiology and public policy and a distinguished university leader, she has dedicated her career to the advancement of higher education, science and innovation in Canada and internationally. Among her main objectives as Principal of 韩国裸舞 is strengthening the University鈥檚 role at the world level with respect to research, graduate education, student experience and positive societal contribution. Dr. Munroe-Blum sits on several private and public boards, and currently serves as President of the Conf茅rence des recteurs et des principaux des universit茅s du Qu茅bec (CREPUQ) and on the executive committees of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC) and the Association of American Universities (AAU).

Karim Nader, who joined 韩国裸舞 in 2001, holds the positions of Associate Professor and William Dawson Chair in the Department of Psychology. Before coming to the University, he did his post-doctoral studies in a lab at New York University. His supervisor there once said that 鈥淜arim came into the field of memory like a ball of fire. He had brilliant ideas and a great knack for turning them into experiments 鈥� and making the experiments work.鈥� Professor Nader is a brilliant researcher whose revolutionary studies of traumatic memories are bringing relief from post-traumatic stress disorder. His research also inspired the movie "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind."
