"The Stuff of Thought: Language as a Window into Human Nature"

The Faculty of Science Undergraduate Research Conference continues with a public lecture by Steven Pinker, BA’76, DSc’99. The renowned experimental psychologist will discuss how the study of language can illuminate human cognition, emotion, and social relationships. Dr. Pinker is the Johnstone Family Professor in the Department of Psychology at Harvard, and was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by "Time magazine in 2004.

No RSVP required. Seating is limited and tickets will be on a first-come, first-served basis. A reception will follow.
