Young legal scholars from across Canada and from Yale, Columbia,
and NYU in the U.S. will be attending this event to discuss
topics from international trade law to human rights law to IP and
environmental law.
The objective of the conference is to provide a lively, engaging
forum for students to share their continuing research on a wide
variety of law-related subjects. The theme of the conference this
year considers law and the “public” and “private” spheres. In
particular, the theme queries whether and how law influences the
dialogue between public and private institutions. The broad theme
of the conference has been selected as a way of taking into account
the multiplicity of projects, interests, and aspirations each
participant will bring to the conference.
