Published: 25 February 2025

For the second year in a row, Science Outreach and student volunteers from the º«¹úÂãÎè BrainReach and Chemistry Outreach groups collaborated with the and local schools for their annual Science Fair and science mentor clubs.

Six mentors from various backgrounds helped support elementary (grades 5-6) and high school (grades 8-10) students in the development of their projects, while providing valuable insights on their experiences in science. Mentor clubs began earlier this year, in November and December for Karonhianónhnha Tsi Ionterihwaienstáhkhwa Elementary School, continuing in January along with Kateri Elementary School and Kahnawà:ke Survival School.

On February 5th for the Science Fair, eight volunteers teamed up with local teachers, science consultants and other representatives of the community, to learn about, judge, and celebrate 161 projects, presented by over 180 students. .Ìý
