Dr. Frederic Fabry focuses on short-term weather prediction, working to improve forecasts for severe atmospheric events. His research addresses the challenges of rapidly evolving storms and the limitations of current numerical forecasting methods, which rely on incomplete high-resolution data. He explores ways to enhance data assimilation, particularly from radar, and develop alternative forecasting approaches to improve accuracy and reliability.
