Spatial and Temporal Dimensions of Educational Globalization†organized by Prof. Ipek Türeli (School of Architecture) and Prof. Tassos Anastassiadis (Department of History) at º«¹úÂãÎè.  “School Time!" is dedicated to new research on the history of educational globalization, school buildings and campus planning, with a focus on the Mediterranean region, from the 1850s to the present.

Keynote speaker: Prof. Benjamin Fortna, University of Arizona – author of Imperial Classroom (2002) and Learning to Read in the late Ottoman Empire and the Early Turkish Republic (2010).
