An exhibition of several series of paintings by artist and professor Dr. Cynthia Hammond (Department of Art History, Concordia University), undertaken between 2017-2019, all exploring the complex and powerful relationships between historic gardens and the women who occupied and cared for them: the garden of the Caetani Cultural Centre in Vernon, BC; the garden of the Colby-Curtis Museum in Stanstead, QC; and the garden of St. Margaret's Home, also known as the Notman Garden, in Montreal. Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Artist's talk: Thursday 20 June at 4:00 p.m. Vernissage: Thursday 20 June from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
